Although the Washington has no restaurant on site it does have an excellent breakfast service. But if you want all three meals Caffe Clifton and Racks, a few doors down, offer a wide range of eating and drinking options with a Washy discount.

Walk into the ground floor of the Clifton Hotel and discover Caffe Clifton which serves a wide range of quality coffees, speciality teas and a tasty selection of handmade cakes, all day long.

Partnered with ATTIC (All The Teas In China) - an independent tea company that sells, serves and imports top quality, loose leaf  tea -Caffe Clifton is able to excite and educate their guests on the joys of Chinese teas with speciality offerings such as the Jasmine Teaball, where the hand-tied flower unfurls over a recommended brewing time of 3 minutes.

Alongside the well-known and loved cakes that are available everyday, a selection of fresh cakes are always changing meaning that one day you can walk in for some home-made (absurdly good) Rocky Roads and next day get tempted by gooey triple-chocolate muffins... Irresistible! A selection of Racks food is also available to order and eat in one of the most unique locations in Clifton.

Caffe Clifton also hosts an array of events, with the most popular being ‘Book Club’ every other Monday from 7 pm; allowing book worms of all ages and abilities to congregate for a brew and discussion about the latest top selling novel.

Guests of the Washington have the added convenience of being able to charge any Racks bills back to their room.
