The Washington Hotel has been part of the Clifton Group since the 1960’s. Originally comprised of three grand town houses, the Washington houses 46 rooms of Bristol’s best value for money accommodation.
This bed and breakfast retreat boasts a hearty breakfast included in its reasonable rates. Fresh fruit, cereals, ham and cheeses from our continental buffet and a full English breakfast, complimented by a selection of teas and coffee.

Pop down to reception and we can give you a 20% discount voucher* for our Racks Restaurant which is three doors up adjoining our sister hotel, The Clifton. If you’re not that hungry, more peckish, pop up to the Clifton Café 15% and enjoy some of their Attic teas, coffees and a range of cakes. Both venues with out door seating allow you to enjoy the summer weather with a refreshing wine, beer or soft drink.
What is there to do in Bristol?
Why not visit Brunel’s famous suspension bridge, a short 20 minute walk through Clifton village and a definite must at night. In the day time why not take a saunter to Ashton court and see the deer which graze in the park. Take a trip down towards the centre of town and you can catch a short ferry trip over the river to the SS Great Britain.
