Who are we?
Clifton Hotels is the premier independent group of boutique hotels and restaurants operating in the beautiful area of Clifton in Bristol. With three hotels, a guest house, three restaurants and a Private Member’s club, we offer our guests variety for any budget and the opportunity to stay in some truly beautiful buildings. We will soon be opening our newest project, Berkeley Suites, which will be luxury, serviced apartments located on Berkeley Crescent in Clifton.

Who do we need?
We are looking for a part time Front of House Team Member to join our team. The right person will be committed to delivering excellent customer service whilst ensuring that the administration tasks get done correctly and efficiently. They will have a confident personality and be happy talking to guests who come from all over the world to stay with us. They will also understand our branding and philosophy and be able to bring their own thoughts and ideas to an already successful working environment.
This role will involve shift work working 24 hours (3 shifts) over 7 days. It will involve working weekends and public holidays. We work on a 3 week rota and aim for you to have at least one weekend off in each rota period.
Due to the demands of this role, we require candidates to be educated to degree level in any discipline or have strong A-levels and relevant customer service experience.
What can we offer you?
We believe in investing in our teams so provide excellent training from the moment you join us that continues as long as you are part of our team. We back up this training with fortnightly sessions in our head office where we solidify the knowledge gained in the hotel environment and build upon it. Cash bonuses of £125, £150 and £175 are paid upon completion of five, ten and fifteen of these courses respectively.
We also offer a competitive remuneration package which includes bonuses based on performance that range between £250 and £300 per month (pro rata). Annual income is often in the region of £15,500 (pro rata) for a receptionist. After 6 months at reception level you are eligible for a head receptionist role which carries more responsibility puts you in the best position possible to gain further promotion within our company.
