Bristol Folk Festival Back to Bristol!

Bristol Folk Festival returned to the city last year after an incredible 32 years absence and it's back again this year to entertain city dwellers and visitors!

The much anticipated 2nd festival will be buzzing in Bristol over the early May Bank Holiday (May 5-7) as a guaranteed “rain free” event as it returns to the revamped Colston Hall!

Artists already announced include Scotland’s Karine Polwart and Rua Macmillan Trio along with Cornwall’s effervescent 3 Daft Monkeys and BBC Radio 2 Folk award nominees Lady Maisery, Walsh and Pound , Blair Dunlop and Lucy Ward and Americana/pop outfit ahab.

In addition to 40 top acts, the festival will feature Morris dancers, mummers and maypoles, ceilidhs, workshops, singalong sessions, a market and “posh loos”. And , unlike many festivals, no rain! Tickets on  0117 922 3686. www.bristolfolkfestival.com

3-day weekend tickets are £80 (concessions £70) whilst family tickets are £250 (2 adults and two children aged 5-15).Under 5s go free!

Day tickets are now available as follows:

£30 (Saturday)

£35 (Sunday)

£40 (Monday)

With a £2 concession for 5-15s, students, pensioners, disabled and unwaged.
