We know that we’re all suffering from Glastonbury hangovers, Bestival blues and Reading withdrawals but once again Bristol steps up to fill that festival shaped hole in your heart. What’s amazing; it’s all in the name of charity.
This weekend see’s the solution to summer festival blues as Figure 8 Festival is ready to rock Bristol in hopes to raise £5000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Headlined by Britpop trio Dodgy, it’s a weekend that promises not to disappoint with a cross-genre selection of rock, indie, folk, acoustic sounds and a range of veteran festival performers.
Figure 8 Festival 2013 takes place at The Birdcage, Bristol, on Friday September 27 and Trinity Centre on Saturday September 28. It will host some of Bristol’s biggest bands and artists from across the country as well as DJ’s, BBQ’s, an indie market and of course a raffle (how could it not, it’s a charity event!) We’ve got our eyes set on the Pieminister voucher!
Need a comfortable bed and a nice hot shower after? I think we can help you out with that!
Tickets on sale now, priced £18.50adv, online and in person from Bristol Ticket Shop (with booking fee) and at The Gallimaufry, Minuteman Press, Rise Music and The Birdcage in Bristol (no booking fee). All proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support, which provides practical, medical and financial support to people with cancer.
