Stumped for ideas this half term? Well look no further, as there’s plenty going on in Bristol to keep both kids and parents entertained this week.
Weather permitting, why not venture up to the Downs for a morning of discovery into the world of birds on February 24th. Games such as ‘beaks and feeds’ will be followed by children learning how to make their very own birdfeeders with recycled materials – fun and eco-friendly!
From 19th-23rd there’ll be storytelling aplenty at the Great Western Dockyard on the Harbourside, with gruesome tales being told on the SS Great Britain. Or for a more laid back day out why not head down to the Planetarium for their Winter night sky show? Finish off the day with a visit to the Tobacco Factory and a performance of ‘Three Little Pigs’, in a hilarious re-telling of the famous storybook tale. Expect drama, comedy, mime and cheesy tunes with this up tempo take on a classic.
Once you’ve done all that head home for a much deserved stiff drink!
