M Shed

M Shed is an exciting and innovative new museum for Bristol due to open on Friday 17th June 2011. Situated on Bristol’s historic wharf, amongst a lively mix of bars, cafes and restaurants, the museum aims to tell the story of our city from prehistoric times to the 21st century.

Stories about the city and its people have been discovered through working with experts and communities across the city – a process that will continue for the life of the museum. It aims to be a living museum, where the stories of the past will spark discussions about the future…
