Why don’t you come on down to the St Pauls area of Bristol on the 2nd July, bring friends and family along too and join in with the festivities. You will find it transformed into an Afrikan Caribbean get away that is bound to leave you feeling a little culturally inspired.
Since it started in 1967, the carnival now attracts over 80,000 people nationwide and involves over 1000 local people who help to create this much loved Carnival’s own unique vibe.
The event itself will consist of street performers, musicians, sporting events, artists, market stalls, performances held on a main stage as well as many chances to sample some of the Afrikan Caribbean cultural dishes.
